Hold UP... Wait a minute...
Have I got a 4th of July doozy for you guys! This is going to truly blow your mind. If you LOVE fireworks, and all that glows in the dark, what I have to show you will make you jump for joy! No, I am not talking about Pandora – The World of Avatar, located within Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida (which looks beyond amazing as well). I'm referring to colour-changing LED eyelashes, which are coming soon, party people!!
Kickstart Your Night Out
Ladies and gentlemen, I can't make this stuff up. A Kickstarter campaign has just launched, and they are called f.lashes. They will come in a variety of colors, and change their syncopation according to what movements you do. From what I can gather, they will be attached to your eyelids at the lash line, and the LEDs will be on a thin wire attached to a small battery that you wear, and will last up to four hours. You apply the f.lashes with lash adhesive. Check out the promotion video here.
When you dance, your movements will activate the light effects. So, just dance to the beat and have fun! Trust us, it is way more fun when you’re in control of the lights.
Have we gone too far here? Or is this just another fad the kids will ride out for a while? Just my thoughts... If it's fun, and doesn't hurt your eyesight or give you brain damage, have fun with it! It's no different than glueing rhinestones on, putting glitter on, changing your eye color, or wearing different color eyeliners and mascaras. My friends, 4th of July will never be the same again - fireworks in the skies and on the eyes! These are crazy days we live in!
What do you think? LEDs on lashes, or just too far out there? Insert techno ambient music playing in the background, head bopping to one side... think about it. You would be the hit of any 4th of July party or otherwise!
Happy F.Lashing! ;)
