Q: What is your best glue?
A: All of our glues are of the highest quality and over time, lash artists discover their favorites and tend stick with those (pun intended). The "best glue" is the one that will do the best job for any particular client, given the variables that are involved... Are you doing classic, volume or mega volume? What are the environmental conditions in your workspace? And does your client have any sensitivities? The glues offering the quickest drying and longest bonding time will have stronger fumes. The glues with low to no fumes dry slower and the bonding time is less. These properties are correlated and are true of all single strand eyelash extension adhesives in the industry. So, your "best glue" will be the one that works best for you and may differ from client to client, depending on their needs.
Q: Do you have samples of the glue?
A: We sell many of our most popular adhesives in a 2ml size for your convenience.
Q: What is the holding time for the glue?
A: The stronger single strand eyelash extension adhesives will last through the natural lash life cycle. On average we lose 5-6 lashes daily and natural lashes have an approximate 45-day life cycle. Advise your customers to come in for a fill every 2-3 weeks. For specific holding times please refer to the product description for the glue that you’re interested in purchasing.
Q: What do you mean by high and low viscosity glue?
A: High viscosity glue means the glue is thick and low viscosity glue means the glue is thin.
Q: My adhesive is not black. The color is not the same as before. I think something is wrong with the adhesive I received. What should I do?
A: Before each use it might be necessary to shake the bottle vigorously for 15 seconds manually or 5 seconds with an adhesive mixer as pigment and ingredients in the adhesive might separate.
Q: Should I store the adhesive in the refrigerator?
A: No, the adhesive should not be stored in the refrigerator. It should be stored out of direct sunlight and heat. Preferably in a dark cabinet is best.
Q: Do you need to have a license or be registered with your company to buy your products?
A: No, we offer our products to everyone but only trained professionals should use the professional products. We do offer a strip and flare lash glue that is designed for both professionals and non that is latex based for shorter bonding periods.
Q: Can you send me the MSDS?
A: Yes, the MSDS for all our adhesives is available after your purchase upon request or on our Resources page on the website.
Q: What is the perfect humidity and temperature when using lash extension glue?
A: The ideal temperature is between 70 and 76 degrees Fahrenheit, but a lot will depend on the comfort level for you and your customer. If it's too cold for them always have a blanket available. We recommend humidity to be between 40-60%. 40% humidity is considered low humidity. Our eyelash extension glues need humidity in the air to cure. If it's too dry, the glue will not cure or bond quick enough or at all, which can cause problems during application. If it's too humid in the room, the glue may cure too quickly and may also bloom I.e. "shock" which is when the glue turns white. We suggest having a small humidifier and hygrometer to gauge these proper levels and achieve proper humidity in your room or workspace.
Customers please note, with the exception of Lash Lock® Latex Free False Lash Adhesive and GladGirl® False & Flare Lash Glue, our individual eyelash adhesives are for professional use only. Please only purchase our professional medical grade eyelash extension glues if you have had the proper eyelash extension training. All of our eyelash extension glues are to be used by trained professionals only. Never attempt to use them on yourself. We are not responsible for the misuse of our eyelash extension glue. You are solely responsible for the product once you purchase it from us. Performance and results of glue vary from person to person. If you purchase eyelash extension glue with high fumes, you must know how to avoid irritation and inflammation if it occurs. Please read the MSDS, available upon request when the purchase is made.
