How do you keep yourself positive when chaos is swirling around you? I just experienced this in my current work environment. It’s difficult not to get swept up in the drama. Who’s right? Who's wrong? And how do you stay positive and neutral while your co-workers self implode.
Let’s break it down here:
First off, everyone else has issues that are none of my business. There will always be drama, personality clashes and power struggles. Staying outside of that is how you stay stable and sane.
I always remain neutral. You never know when you may need to make a change yourself and if you take sides, you alienate those who you may end up working with in the future.
Staying focused on my path, my clients and my attitude is my priority. My business is my business. My clients are coming to see me and my job is to provide them with the best possible service in the most comfortable environment possible.
When the negative vortex swirls around you, take a breath and remember this is not about you. It can be challenging to ride out the behind the scene whispers, the plotting and scheming by the salon professionals who are leaving. I want to stay connected with them, yet make space to remain neutral.
I get it, everyone needs to find their place they can call their home. Sometimes, when we as professionals are in need of a change, we just need to keep in mind that our clients are our first priority. They are the ones who help us make our career so rewarding both professionally and monetarily.
Our peers can come and go, we can make new connections, and enjoy the co workers who have decided to move on, if we keep things professional.
Be courteous, stay focused and remember what your personal goals and priorities are.
This too will pass, and along the way, you can be proud you remained positive and took care of “your” business.

A smooth, flawless wax can leave your skin looking and feeling incredible, but proper aftercare is essential to maintain those results and keep your skin healthy. Freshly waxed skin is more sensitive and needs extra attention to avoid irritation, redness, or ingrown hairs.
