Introduction to Microblading - 4 More Ways to Make Your Beauty Permanent

Welcome back to the final installment of my microblading series! I hope you have enjoyed learning about this ever-growing-trend, and maybe even went out and got your brows done! If you have received a microblading procedure, are thinking about getting one, or even want to become a microblading artist, I hope that this series has helped you learn about the art itself, as well as how a safe and professional procedure should be performed. I would like to turn your attention now to other permanent makeup services that are just as popular: ombre brows, permanent eyeliner, permanent lip stains, beauty marks, hair simulation, and scar camouflage. There are plenty more where those came from, but these are currently the most in-demand as of late.

1. Ombre Brows

Maybe you're interested in getting your brows done, but microblading isn't a good fit for you. Fear not, ombre brows may be more up your alley. This style looks more like an eyebrow filled with makeup, and you even have the opportunity to apply a few microbladed hair strokes to make them look just a little more natural. This style is done with either a tattoo machine or a permanent makeup machine, and many people have commented that it is somewhat more comfortable than microblading.

2. Permanent Eyeliner & Lips

Permanent eyeliner and lip stains are also done with a permanent makeup machine and are both highly recommend for anyone who wants the appearance of makeup on their face without the hassle of having to apply it every morning. You have the option of making your eyeliner as thin or as thick as you like, but it's highly recommended that you don't go too thin or too thick. Your artist can help you choose just the right width for you. Permanent lip stain is basically what the name suggests, a soft blush of color on your lips that will give them a pretty and full appearance. This procedure is also ideal for anyone who has an uneven lip shape, and can help give some symmetry to your kisser!

3. Hair Simulation

The above-mentioned procedures sound fun and seem perfect for anyone who wants to look good and save some time in their morning routine, but permanent makeup can also be used for medical purposes as well. Hair simulation is great for clients who may want to fill in any bald spots on their head, and many male clients who suffer from male-pattern-baldness can benefit greatly from it.

4. Scar Camouflaging

Scar camouflaging uses a neutral, flesh-toned pigment to conceal scars left by surgeries, injuries, etc. However, it is not recommended for a raised scar, so going in for a consultation would be best if you're uncertain. Just like permanent cosmetics, these procedures are also done with either a tattoo gun or a PMU machine.

Everlasting Beauty

There are so many wonderful advances in the permanent makeup field to choose from! This is truly an industry that many can benefit from, either as a client or an artist. It has transformed so many lives for the better and it just grows more and more popular each day. I'm personally excited to see what comes next. Always remember though: DO YOUR research. Whether you're interested in learning or getting something done, make sure you go to a trained professional. There are so many to choose from, but there are also many illegitimate "artists" who are performing unsafe practices. There are countless resources online to help you get the most out of your experience. Once again, I hope you have found all my information useful.
