Hello Lash Lovers! Glad Lash certainly has a heap of glue options to choose from, so here are some notes on a new adhesive, and how to choose the best glue for you. Over the last week I have brought the new GladGirl Lash Lock glue to all of my appointments, and used it in a glue ring. What I loved most is the low viscosity (thin consistency) which makes for an easy, clean application. This adhesive quickly creates a secure bond, but not so fast that you don't have time to make directional correction. Also, when using the taping up technique I found that less lashes came off onto the tape, making me feel confident that my clients will have extended retention time. For the most part, I used Lash Lock for both classic and volume application. While the Lash Lock did work for volume lashes I decided to mix in a drop of Volumizing Collection "Volume Plus" to seal the deal a bit faster. While I do not recommend combining glues if you haven’t first tried it during practice time, I do recommend having multiple glues on hand for all of your different needs. My sensitive clients did prefer the Lash Lock, as they reported absolutely no fumes or sensations. I've also received texts of lash love - my athlete clients are reporting the lash lock is their favorite glue yet! While all Glad Lash adhesives have an optimal humidity of 40-60 percent, some details vary. When it comes to glue comparison, are you wanting more details on how the adhesives stack up?
