For more than 4 decades, our beloved co-founder Esther Bolkin blazed an innovative trail, creating a path for all Lash Lovers to travel. Her kindness, vision, skill, and loving spirit will be felt, remembered, and carried forward.
As we reconcile this tremendous loss, we are committed to honoring her legacy and will continue to hold true to the mission that she established and remained loyal to always; empowering and supporting the success of her clients, students, GladGirl customers, and of course the GladGirl Team who have worked loyally beside Esther to carry out her vision for years.
Her memory will live on through GladGirl as well as each and every lash applied by all those she taught and mentored along the way.
We have received such an outpouring of love and inspired stories about Esther. If you'd like, please share your own story, experience, or inspiration as her student, client, friend, or inspired business owner in the comments below. We know the rest of our GladGirl Community would love to hear these beautiful stories about our beloved Lash Legend, Esther Bolkin.
To our entire GladGirl community, be well and Lash On Lovers – Esther would have wanted it just that way.
Miss you so much. Love to your family.
I’m so sad. She was an amazing woman. I’m so blessed I got to meet her
I so enjoyed working with and knowing such an incredible woman and pioneer. My condolences.
My condolences to the staff and her family. I never met her but I am a loyal Glad Girl customer.
The good customer experiences I have had I’m sure are a reflection of her as a person and her work ethic as a business owner.
I went to Esther for my lashes for many, many years. We formed a special friendship that I will deeply miss. She will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️. I now do my own lashes and learned just by the countless appointments I’ve had with her ☺️.
Rest in Power, Sweet Esther🙏🏼
