With spring just around the corner, it’s time to do a bit of cleaning and organizing. It’s time to pitch out the clutter you have collected over the year. Let’s get a fresh start to the new season, open those drawers and cabinets, and get to work.
Throw Out the Clutter
How about those trays of lashes – there are just a few strips left of sizes you often don’t use. These are those lashes you just had to have for a special client, who just so happened to move far away. It’s going to be a little difficult to use those lime green lashes on anyone else. Throw them out and declutter your inventory.
You ordered special glue for a client who now wants to take a break. It’s been sitting for a while and it’s probably going to expire before you use it again. You have 10 sets of tweezers and there are only a few that you really like and use. All those extras are just now bouncing around in a drawer or a cabinet, collecting dust.
How many rolls of partially used tape, different kinds of under eye pads, and other items you have collected that are sitting in a drawer or cabinet, in the never-to-be used category? Well, let’s make some room for the things we love and use every day. Clearing the clutter helps to keep you organized, stocked with the supplies that you actually use, and keeps your inventory fresh.
Organize Your Inventory
I have found that organizing my lashes in containers that are labeled is a great time saver. I can go straight to the lashes I need. I organize my implements the same way. I set my tools up so I can grab a set and work on a client when I’m finished. I grab a fresh set for my next client – I have 5 sets of implements sanitized and am ready for my day. Some of the organizers I love the best are from Glad Lash, check them out and let us know how you get your spring cleaning motivation on!
