It’s that time of year again when we need to be ready and stocked up for the holidays. Let’s make this a smooth festive season with proper preparation. Now is the perfect time to evaluate where exactly you are in preparation for the oncoming uptick in business. I've compiled a list of questions you can ask yourself:
Do you have a game plan for your holiday business?
How about gift cards and holiday gift sets with after care essentials?
Examine the Past
Firstly, breathe and take a step back. Look at what your holiday business looked like last year. Did you turn away business? Do you need additional help for the busy holiday? If you do, timing is everything. Get the word out and get your team in place.
Keep Control of Your Business
Pre-booking every client you can for at least the holiday is vital. Many clients like to call in or book online at their convenience. However, they may find it difficult to find openings due to the uptick in business during the holiday period. So, it's your job to get them on the books from November to January 1.
Stocked Up?
Take stock of your inventory. Do you have enough supplies to last you through your busy time? Keep in mind that shipping can be spotty if there are weather issues, snow storms, ice storms, and any other unforeseen conditions that can hamper getting your supplies on time.
'Tis the Season... to Give!
Remember, your clients are squeezing more into their schedules and will be looking for gift ideas. Do you have any gift baskets or gift cards ready? How about those little grab-and-go gifts? Display these items at your check out so your clients can readily purchase. Here are a few great examples, we love:

A smooth, flawless wax can leave your skin looking and feeling incredible, but proper aftercare is essential to maintain those results and keep your skin healthy. Freshly waxed skin is more sensitive and needs extra attention to avoid irritation, redness, or ingrown hairs.
