Hello Glad Lash Peeps :) This week has me thinking about eyebrows, and how we can go the extra mile for our clients. I'm going to share two quick and easy artist tips with you that are bound to boost client loyalty, and help you sell your add-on services. Most importantly, they will leave your client feeling very special, and beautiful!
A Light Brow Groom
Post eyelash extension service, I always do a complimentary brow clean up. Two or three minutes spent trimming, and a brief tweeze, will freshen up the look of the beautiful lashes you've just applied. Of course, always ask for permission first. Your client may not even know you do brows. If you're not already in charge of your clients' eyebrows, this will open up the dialogue and give them a sneak preview of your work.
The Finishing Touches
When I shape my clients brows, I like to finish off with a quick makeup service. If I haven’t already tinted their brows with RefectoCil, I fill in their eyebrows using a wedge brush with taupe powder. Time allowing, a little rouge on the apple of the cheeks and a translucent powder over the face finishes the look. I have witnessed eyebrow artists filling in the shape of the eyebrow priorto tweezing/ waxing. In my opinion, this is a huge mistake that can lead to taking away your ability of right perception. It is better to work with what your client will manage on their own, day-to-day.
RefectoCil is naturally waterproof, and will give your brows a more dramatic, fuller look.
Gratitude Pays
The routine of adding in brow grooming or makeup - post service - brings me happiness, as I launch my clients back into the world feeling extra fabulous! As an extra perk, in my experience, 90% of the time the client becomes a brow client, and/or purchases the products used. Exhibit gratitude by going the extra mile, without expecting a return. A mindset of being of service to your clients' happiness will always flow through you to facilitate your financial needs being met.
Wishing you beautiful brows and happy clients ;) xo

A smooth, flawless wax can leave your skin looking and feeling incredible, but proper aftercare is essential to maintain those results and keep your skin healthy. Freshly waxed skin is more sensitive and needs extra attention to avoid irritation, redness, or ingrown hairs.
