Marketing doesn’t need to be tricky or overwhelming. Navigating a marketing plan can be an ease with immediate results of attracting target market customers.
Keep reading for tips for being a magnet for high quality - repeat clients.
Word of mouth is miraculous. Your current clients play a huge role in growing your business. The fastest route is giving each client their dream lashes. Then, give clients incentive.
For example, you could offer them $10 off their next service for every new client they refer, and offer the new first time client the same discount. Happy clients delight at the chance to invite friends in on a good thing. In turn, new clients feel a sense of trust knowing you are vetted in real life.
Everyone wins. Plus, birds of a feather flock together. You will likely receive new clients from a referral program that are uniquely similar to the clients you already know and love.
Everyone loves a person that gives free knowledge! Share valuable and interesting informationon forums or groups where people have asked questions about eyelashes and brows.
Are you a trusted source? Successful marketers spend time sharing what they know. You can build enormous credibility in your efforts. Credibility leads to establishing your brand as an authority.
Think ladies who lunch, or maybe a circle gathering over zoom, possibly happy hours. Women inspiring women in similar businesses can go far beyond lifting each other up on social media.
Gather often, talk about what works and what doesn’t. Talk about how to grow. Reality riff with a mission to all thrive together. Good energy for each other just opens up more.
Window clings, posters, counter cards, clients appointment cards? GladGirl has all your needs covered to look in style and professional.
Window clings help foot traffic identify your business, and also the service offerings, leading to more walk-ins coming up to your doors ready to book an appointment.
Posters inside your space set an up to date esthetic while messaging to clients that you using top of the line products.
Counter cards introduce your clients to services they might not realize you offer, and give a great example of the results. For example you could let them know you offer LashLift and Brow Lamination, or share a specific lash style, like a cat eye, hybrid, or volume lashes by displaying a counter card.
Want to be always on the mind of your favorite clients? Give them a gift. I absolutely love this super cute phone accessory, the Lash & Laugh Phone Holder, the perfect stylish gift at a price that's nothing to bat an eyelash at :)

While trading services should be used conservatively, proposing the right trade may be the most auspicious thing you can do. By finding the right people to trade with, you will naturally be creating a network of all the best technicians and services in your community.
For instance, if you have the opportunity to swap services, choosing a busy wedding photographer or a stylist that does the best cut and color in town may be just the partnership needed to expand your business.
Launching a new service? Achieve a milestone in your business? Let the world know by getting in touch with local publications, from there your big news could be picked up by the media.
Some things to note that are included in a good press release: give a bit of backstory on your compelling story, be aware of your brand and the type of buzz you're looking to create.
This one is personal to me. My beauty business was built by gifting- gift certificates- to the silent auctions of nonprofits in my community.
Step one, find an organization that represents something you care about. Step two, ask if they have fundraisers and if they do, are collecting donations for their events? I found this practice brought clients that shared similar values and interests as me. One gift certificate donation could lead to much more than one or two new loyal clients.
In my last coaching installment we talked about the value of a direct email campaign like a newsletter or blog. Which has compelled me to highlight the OG method of the US Postal Service.
Good old fashioned mail brings what’s possible straight to the front door and into the hands of your new clients. Consider sending out a seasonal message featuring your next press release :)
Until next time, here at GladGirl we are here to support you in all things thriving and shining!
