We are bombarded with beauty products that boast about their amazing benefits, but they don't always live up to the hype. In this post, I am going to share some beauty products that are not only good, but actually do what they claim and a little more!
Micellar Water
Micellar Water is a product that has become popular over the past year or so. It claims to be an all-in-one cleanser that removes makeup and soothes your skin all at the same time. It's also applicable on all skin types, even sensitive skin. I have personally used it and absolutely LOVE it, as it gently and effectively removes makeup without feeling harsh or abrasive. It has no alcohol, oil or fragrance, so it really is safe to use. I would give this product a huge thumbs up!
Aquafor
Aquafor is a brilliant product. If you are a parent then you probably already put this product to good use! It lives up to it's promise to soothe minor cuts and burns, relieve dry and chapped skin, moisturize and protect your skin. I have used this product since my son was a baby for help with diaper rashes, cuts, healing dry skin and so much more. And I have also used it professionally as a makeup artist to create special effects. It's a MUST HAVE for anyone. It's gentle enough to use around sensitive areas and very effective.
Concealer
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is HOT right now. It's creamy and feels delicious on your skin. The color payoff is beautiful and the coverage is medium to full. It can be used as a concealer or highlight depending on your color story. It's an award winner and a great addition to your makeup kit. Professionally, I love the texture and use it on many of my brides.
Powder
I love Laura Mercier Translucent Powderand have it in my kit at all times. It claims to be a silky powder with a sheer coverage that helps makeup last, and it lives up to those claims. I can use this product on most skin tones and it is good for all skin types as well. As a setting powder with a velvety silky finish, it helps makeup last for hours on end. If you happen to be stepping on a red carpet in the near future, it creates a smooth surface on your skin that doesn't allow for flashback from cameras. This product passes my test with flying colors!
Brow Brush
GladGirl's Be Brow Beautiful Retractable Micro Pencil gives your brows a natural filled-in shape
GladGirl's Be Brow Beautiful - Retractable Micro Pencil is a dual ended pencil with a brow brush on one end and a micro eyebrow pencil on the other. I have really started using this brow pencil as of late and love how small the pencil is, which allows me to easily fill in eyebrow spaces that just need a little bit of love. I tend to use powder and a pencil and am loving how easy it is to make brush strokes with this pencil and how lightly it transfers. I also like how it gives brows a natural look instead of looking overdone. Another virtual high five to this BOMB beauty product! These products are the real deal! They do what they say and say what they do! These products are tried and true beauty heroes that will come to your rescue each time!
