Award season has come and pretty much gone, along with the red carpet looks that were unveiled this year. Creating a red carpet look is a collaboration, right? It takes a village to create a moment. Wardrobe stylists, jewelry designers, hair and makeup artists work off of each other to really make a celebrity or artist stand out! Whether we think a look works or doesn't, it's all worthy of conversation and attention. I will be going over my favorite looks from this awards season in my very own red carpet review! Let's start with the Golden Globes!

The Golden Globes Glam Review

Who were the superstars in fashion at the Golden Globes? In my humble opinion, I absolutely adored Allison Janney's look from head to toe! The light blue dress she wore was outstanding against her skin tone. It was off the shoulder and long-sleeved, showing just the right amount of skin. And because she is so long and lean, she looked so statuesque and beautiful! Her makeup, done by Collier Strong, was soft glam with her hair down. It was just an awesome look. Get her amazing lash look by using GladGirl's December False Lashes or May Strip Lashes! These really gave her eyes a glamorous feel!

Timothee Chalamet from Call Me By Your Name was dapper in all black wearing Louis Vuitton. He really looked age appropriate and his black safety harness didn't bother me one bit. It just made him look cool and unique to me!

The Grammy's Glam Review

Who hit the high notes in glam at the Grammy's? Gaga for the Win! She dazzled in a silver strapless dress that almost had an 80's vibe to it.
Lady-GaGa-Grammys-2019 Gaga's entire look blew everyone away at the red carpet this year.
Her makeup looked "lived in" according to her makeup artist Sarah Tanno. This means that she almost looked like she had been wearing it from the night before – her stylists smudged her makeup out to create a not so perfect look. Her makeup was rather understated for Gaga, which was different for her. Her hair was down and had a messy wave to it. It was just perfect in my opinion. She had no lashes either, which is rare! But you can achieve her black smudged liner look with GladGirl's rich black eyeliner pencil!

A STAR IS BORN INDEED. I really wasn't impressed by any male looks on the red carpet. Sorry boys!

The Oscars Review Glam Review

Who took home the gold in glam at the Oscars? So, for me, Lucy Boynton was the winner! Her color dress was a rich purple from Rodarte. Jewels Cartier gave her hair a defined look – it was almost old Hollywood like. Her makeup artist, Jo Baker, did a beautiful spring inspired look for Lucy to brighten her up. The rose colors with the pink were so dreamy! Jo really killed the makeup looks this season; they were very direct and well thought out. She isn't wearing lashes either but she really worked her lashes with mascara to give them a WOW factor. You, too, can achieve these lashes if you try GladGirl's Lashen Masse Mascara!

For men, I really gravitated towards Chadwick Boseman's red carpet look from Black Panther. He wore custom Givenchy with a long jacket robe hybrid with a unique pattern and hints of blue. It looked hot! These are my red carpet winners this year! What looks would you give awards to?
