NYFW 2016 Makeup Trends

From the NYFW runways, the fall beauty trends have arrived. It's all about the dark rimmed eye and/or the barely there shadow with heavy mascaraed lashes and a deep almost gothic lip color. These looks are bold and daring, so if this is your vibe, it’s TIME for You to DO YOU!

In the spirit of the look, I’m offering black eyeliner suggestions and some equally daring lip choices.

Eyes

While black eyeliner is a dime a dozen and everyone is on the feline flick and winged liner train, I feel like not all liners are made equally

To ‘tight’ line your upper and lower water lines, I suggest Urban Decays Perversion Glide On Eyeliner for some hard core definition. If you have eyelash extensions...I would use Blink's Pencil Eyeliner in Rich Black to make this look happen. THEN, go over the pencil with a black eyeshadow to help make the rimmed eyes even more intense. Apply the black eyeshadow to a flat-edged brush and pat it over the lower inner water line.

For the more smoked out effect, you can also use the black shadow around the lashes, just smudge it out andtop it off with a feline flick then you’ll be walking the walk and talking the talk. The liquid liners I would suggest are Stila Stay All Say waterproof liner in Jet Black and for eyelash extensions you can use Glad Lash’s, GladGirl Gel Liner in Ebony to handle your business!

Lips

Now, for the bold lip looks that jumped off the runway. The lip colors on point are matte, front and center! Too Faced has their Melted Matte Lipsticks that are, da'bomb! The deeper colors are perfect if you want to stay on trend. Revlon also makes some wonderful matte lip colors for Fall as well.

Beauty and the BEAT is what this is. Intensity is the name of the game. How deep are you willing to go?!!!
